Where are cows, and how do I unlock the Catapult?
Consume 300 cows across runs to unlock the Catapult. Cow herds are placed in Golden Dunes, Savannah and Wasteland when the biome loads. Each of these biomes has three dedicated herds of 15 cows. The herd placements are separate from timed enemy waves.
What is Wanderburg?
Wanderburg is a single-player medieval action roguelike about driving a castle on wheels, consuming villages and defeated vehicles, and assembling modules, captains, artifacts, and upgrades during repeated runs.
When is Wanderburg's release date?
Wanderburg launched in Early Access on September 8, 2026. A date for leaving Early Access has not been announced on the official Steam listing.
Where can I download Wanderburg?

How do you play Wanderburg?
Drive your fortress, consume villages and defeated vehicles, collect progress, and choose modules and upgrades as you level up. Defeat bosses to progress through the biome. Boosting consumes nitro; emptying the tank triggers a recovery delay.
What is the best captain in Wanderburg?
Choose a captain whose benefit fits your weapons and whose drawback you can handle. Patchy supports cannons, Empress supports friendly units, and Huntress changes automatic attacks and active cooldowns. Their current in-game effects are compared below.

What counts as a Harvester, and where can I find one?
The Harvester is the large fortress with a spiked harvesting drum at the front and three chimneys on top. One is scheduled for 2:15 into stage 1 of Green Plains, Meadows, and Waving Fields. The Green Plains quest requires 5 kills for 2500 Silver and carries progress between runs.
What is the best Wanderburg build?

What are the best upgrades in Wanderburg?
